Phishing Emails Claiming an Order Was Places

Phishing Emails Claiming an Order Was Places

There have been a growing number of email scams claiming to be software, antivirus, and other orders, from amazon, PayPal and other vendors claiming orders were made that the person did not make. These are an attempt to get you to click on fake websites and or call fake phone numbers to get your login information, bank and or credit card information. We have seen a few people get taken by these. If you get an email from something saying you ordered something or paid for something that you did not go directly to your account and login to check. Do not click on the links or call the numbers in the email, if something really was ordered from that account you will see it there in orders or payments. Same thing for say a PayPal payment or similar. Always go directly to the account to look. Any questions, always feel free to give us a call. We would rather help you ahead of time than help you clean up a mess.
