A solid state drive can speed up a computer quite a bit being it has a faster read write access speed. In some cases we have seen computers with standard hard drives and low memory almost double how fast they operate just upgrading the standard hard drive to a solid state hard drive. Many times its the difference between wanting to recycle the computer and it behaving like a brand new machine.
